Ecomworld Pay takes privacy and data protection issues seriously. This Privacy Policy is deigned to explain how we handle personally identifiable information collected from Sub-Merchants who register for services and submit information to Ecomworld Pay through the Internet. As the Ecomworld Pay services evolve, we may revise this policy, so please check back frequently. Scope of this Privacy Policy :

This Privacy Policy covers all treatments of personally identifiable information collected by Ecomworld Pay from it's sub-merchants. These sub-merchants include all who use the services of Ecomworld Pay payment gateway solutions and as well as consumer information that we acquire in the course of our business.

This Policy also covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that Ecomworld Pay’s back end technology providers / partners may share with it.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Ecomworld Pay does not own or control, or to people that Ecomworld Pay does not employ or manage. Ecomworld Pay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden Legand Leasing and Finance Limited. This Policy is specific to Ecomworld Pay and does not apply to Golden Legand Leasing and Finance Limited. Ecomworld Pay respects your privacy and wants to promote trust and confidence on the internet. As such, Ecomworld Pay feels it is necessary to disclose to you what information this site collects and tracks and what we do with the information that we collect. Information security is critical to our business.

We, at Ecomworld Pay are always working to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software. SSL is a software that encrypts each and every information you input. We store information gathered on secure computers.

Also, the number of employees that have physical access to the computers involved in the management of the data is limited to a great extent. We also, always use an advanced technology to secure our computers and prevent any unauthorized access. It is essential for you, the sub-merchant to protect any unauthorized access to your Login ID/password and to your computer. Also, be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer and otherwise protect the password used to access the Ecomworld Pay’s services.

As of now, Ecomworld Pay collects sub-merchant’s personal information, through either or all of the following:

• The sub-merchant registration process ss.
• The service agreement that they execute
• Various documents that verify sub-merchant’s creditability - These documents are as required by Ecomworld Pay from time to time.
• Ecomworld Pay asks customers to supply various personal data when placing an order, such as name and address, telephone number, and E-mail address.

Ecomworld Pay uses this and the above data only for the purpose of filling an order, or communicating with the customer or Sub-Merchant about the status of an order.

However; the sub-merchants are able to collect customers personal information via the purchases that are made. The data Ecomworld Pay collects is used in the aggregate to give us demographic information about the entire Ecomworld Pay audience in order to improve the service to you and to our Sub-Merchants, to perform statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our Sub-Merchants and visitors, to measure overall patron demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the Ecomworld Pay domain and to analyse how and where to use our resources.

We use cookies to help us analyse which services sub-merchants and visitors use and which sites users link to.

Ecomworld Pay tracks information like the domain name from which you, the sub-merchant contact us, the pages that you request and the products you buy, the referring site and the time that you spend on the sites.

It is essential that you note that for everyone who visits an Ecomworld Pay sub-merchant purchase page, we log the following: IP addresses, your browser software type and the type of operating system that your computer uses. It allows us to determine the Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of your point of connectivity from the IP address.

If you are Ecomworld Pay's sub-merchant, then the personal information you provide i.e. the name, address, etc. allows us to inform you about the various updates, any type of changes to the service and it also allows us to notify you of the various products and services of Ecomworld Pay, its backend service providers and affiliates that we believe may be of interest to you.

Ecomworld Pay uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure and will not disclose this information to other individuals or organizations unless required by law. However; we, at Ecomworld Pay will exchange information with other companies and organizations for the sole purposes of reducing risks and protecting our consumers against fraud. However, if there any type of security breach, we are not responsible for it or for any third-party actions that receive the information illegally.

Ecomworld Pay will not and does not distribute customer information to be used in surveys, mailing lists, or any other purpose other than what is required to perform our services. However; Ecomworld Pay will send personally identifiable information about you (sub-merchants) to other companies or people under the following circumstances:

• We need to share your information if you have requested to provide the product or service;
• We need to send your information to other companies who work on behalf of Ecomworld Pay in order to provide a product or service to you. It is essential to note that until and unless, we tell you other-wise, these companies do not have the right to use any of your personally identifiable information;
• You have given your permission to us to share your information.

You are requested to note that your personally identifiable consumer information is also shared with third parties (such as credit card processors and our acquiring banks) to the extent necessary for Ecomworld Pay to deliver payment processing services. Ecomworld Pay is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customer’s personal data. Ecomworld Pay may also link to a wide variety of other sites. Ecomworld Pay is in no condition, responsible for their privacy policies or how they treat information about their users.

Ecomworld Pay responds to warrants, subpoenas, or other court orders regarding information that is contained within our access logs concerning any sub-merchant, customer or visitor. Ecomworld Pay reserves the right to release that information. This may be concerning any sub merchant who we believe is in violation of our content guidelines, even without a subpoena, warrant, or other court order. We co-operate with law enforcement agencies and government authorities in identifying those who use our servers and services for illegal activities.

We also reserve the right to report any illegal activity by our Sub-Merchants or their customers to law enforcement for prosecution.

Please be aware that Ecomworld Pay does not control the acts of its Sub-Merchants or visitors. All Sub-Merchants, customers and visitors should be aware that, when they disclose personal information such as their actual name, store’s name, e-mail address, etc. to third parties, the information may be collected and used by others to send that person unsolicited e-mail from other parties, outside of Ecomworld Pay. Ecomworld Pay collects customers name, contact details, and Debit/Credit card details of the customers and other details as per several payment options. (Debit/Credit Card details and other payment details are collected as per the rules and regulation law that were established by the Reserve Bank of India and Card Companies).

Ecomworld Pay collects information from customer's computer, phone, tablet or other device that the customers are using to access our services to tackle and reduce chances of risk. This data includes language settings of the customers, IP addresses and the browser. There are certain instances, when we may receive your details or information about you from alternative sources - These alternative sources may be affiliate partners, business partners, independent third parties or anything we get from them may be combined with information provided by you.

2. Reason for collecting data and processing the information:

Ecomworld Pay collects personal information to render services in an efficient manner. We process information and collect your data for the following purposes:

• To help you either purchase or acquire products and services that you have requested and to process any payment connected with that products services as requested.
• To provide you with customer care service
• To contact you in relation to the products, features or services that you have purchased or requested to any communication that you might have sent us.

Our Applications at times, may interface with third party services that you have previously interacted with (e.g. Facebook), or contain links to third party content. Please note that Ecomworld Pay is not responsible for such services or content, or the privacy policies associated with those services or content. We recommend that you, the sub-merchant reviews any third party's privacy policy before accessing such services or content.

4. Security of Your Personal Data

As state above, Ecomworld Pay is a heavily regulated body and our operations are routinely monitored by the Reserve Bank of India, Acquiring Bank and Card Companies. We strictly abide by the provisions of Indian Information Technology Act 2000 and its rules and all relevant amendments.

We also have the certification of PCIDSS (a set of rules and regulation by the Card Companies), Ecomworld Pay is ISO27001 compliant. Ecomworld Pay protects, processes and uses all the data collected in accordance with the applicable Data Protection Laws.

Ecomworld Pay observe reasonable procedures to prevent unauthorized access to, and the misuse of, personal data collected by Ecomworld Pay.

Ecomworld Pay uses appropriate business systems and procedures to safeguard the personal data given to us by you. We use security procedures as well as technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal data on our servers.

It is always ensured that only the authorized personnel are permitted to access personal data in the course of their work.

We will retain your personal data for as long as we deem it necessary to enable you to use our services, to provide our services to you including and maintaining the user account if and when created to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes with any parties and otherwise as necessary to allow us to conduct our business, including to detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities.

The customer has every right and all the control over their personal data provided to us. It is essential for you to note that the customer can request us for an overview of their data by putting up a mail to us.

In certain instances, you can ask us to modify, erase, or block or restrict the processing of, the personal data we have stored about you, or object to particular ways in which we are using your personal data.

We rely on you, the sub-merchant to ensure that your personal data is complete, accurate and current. We request you to inform us promptly of any changes to or inaccuracies of to your personal data by contacting us.

Ecomworld Pay want customers to be in control of how personal data is used by us. Customer can do this in the following ways:

• You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about that particular individual;
• You can inform us of any changes to their personal data, or can ask us to correct any of the personal data we hold about them
• An individual can ask us to erase, or block or restrict the processing of, the personal data we hold about them, or object to particular ways in which we are using your personal data; and
• in certain instances, individual can also ask us to send the personal data, we have given to a third party.

If we are using personal data on individual's consent basis, he/she is entitled to withdraw that consent at any time subject to applicable law. Moreover, where we process personal data based on legitimate interest or the public interest, the personnel has the right to object at any time to that use of personal data subject to applicable law.
